Jonathan Dorwart takes GIS analysis beyond cartography to levels of analysis for which GIS was originally intended. The work of real estate economics is vastly enhanced by Jon’s knowledge of programming in a spatial realm. With Jon’s leadership, Wikstrom evaluates real estate, demographic and economic trends visually both in real time and over economic cycles, allowing us to make most accurate predictions regarding future market direction, corrections and shifts. Jon has a wide range of experience in spatial analysis, GIS management, community development, land use and qualitative & quantitative research. Jon's expertise is drawn from his experience assembling GIS resources and drafting cartographic products for a number of planning and market studies as an analyst at Wikstrom and at the Portland Development Commission. Prior to this he worked as a research assistant at the Institute of Portland Metropolitan Studies at Portland State University. Producing a wide range of data sets relevant to demographic and economic planning analysis, Jon is highly skilled for any GIS/Spatial requirements, local or regional.
